Sunlight

I'm a night owl by nature. I love being awake all night and sleeping all day.

The problem with this is that I don't get to see much sunlight. I'm like a self proclaimed vampire most days.

And whenever I'm out and about when the sun is up, I'm either too preoccupied to really notice, or walking around like a zombie who is craving a nap more than brains.

But on the rare occasions when I actually take the time to appreciate the beauty of sunlight and how it affects the every day things in life, I can't help but sigh at how lovely the day time is.

It's enough to make me want to sleep at night like a normal person.

  1. I'm a night owl too, but you're right these pictures are enough to make someone want to sleep at night/be normal.

  3. Those are really nice--I love the sun flares and the reflections off the windows. You have a really great eye for catching the more unusual compositions!

  6. Those are awesome pictures - I love the flowers!

I love the sun, so I'm awake for it in the summer...unless I decide to take a nap at the beach. :)

  7. I'm the total opposite - it starts getting dark outside, and I'm all "Okay, bedtime now!" Although I do quite like the idea of getting up and watching all my favourite shows on TV while I eat breakfast!! ;)

    Love the photos :)

  8. I'm quite the night owl myself....try to wake me up before noon and you'll be on my bad side all day.... just look at the timing of the comments lol. Mine is half past 11pm.

This, for me, is normal. To be awake at this time, I mean. My dad has been asleep for several hours. He is one of those people I cannot stand who wakes up at 4am w/o an alarm clock. I used to get in trouble at work if I didn't show up by 8am [because that wasn't "early" (YES IT WAS!!)]...lol. I no longer have that job. I do have some things I have to do that require me to have a random schedule....classes that run til 9pm but I don't get home until 10, but I'll have class the next morning, no bueno...

I love the photography. It's beautiful, as always. I like that you include a bit of writing with yours
