The day started with pancakes. Or rather a trip to the store to get things so we could make pancakes.

The pancakes turned out a bit too thin, but still tasted wonderfully, and it was amazing good times to cook together in the kitchen.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii was played with my sister. That game is ridiculously hard to play with three players. I died. A lot. It was hilarious.

Of course there was a bunch more kissing, cuddling and hand holding wherever we went. I couldn't get enough of him. So all through Smith's, GameStop, Cafe Rio and Yogurtland, we were always sickeningly adorable together.

I never thought I'd be a big fan of Public Displays of Affection, but PDA is actually really fun.

I'm singing Breathless by The Corrs! It's pretty awesome, if I do say so myself!

I don't think I've ever been more nervous and excited for anything as I was for Kevin's visit.

The drive from where he is to where I am is about five hours long, so he didn't show up until around 3pm. And with every hour that passed, the more crazy I became.

I'd been waiting 8 months to meet this guy, and I got more and more impatient with every second.

But when that doorbell finally rang, I ran downstairs as fast as I could, threw open the door and kissed him. My heart was pounding, everything was fuzzy and wonderful.

We spent the entire afternoon cuddling and kissing. It was too hard to focus on anything else but him.

Hunger eventually won out around 7pm and we went downstairs and started making fajitas.

We put on a Disney music mix and when he instantly started singing Aladdin's part in "A Whole New World" and knew the harmony, I thought I was going to die of happiness. He's perfect.

It took us much longer to cook the fajitas than it should have. We couldn't stop taking kissing breaks. But when they were finally finished, we were both in spicy, fajita heaven.

We tried to watch a bit of Big Bang Theory later in the night, but with all of the kissing, we didn't really pay attention to anything.

It was the perfect first day.

Before I introduce myself... I want to thank Kate for asking me to do a guest post for her. I always enjoy these especially when I get a set of questions to answer. It requires almost no work!

Well.. I'm a mommy to two kids (Olivia-5 and Jackson-3), two cats (Stumpy and Batman), married to my husband Matt for seven years, I work part time and have my own Etsy shop (http://scrapinsara.etsy.com). And then in my free time I blog. And by "free time" that means I kick Matt and the kids out of my bedroom, lock the door and spew forth my crazy into a blog format. I had never blogged in any capacity before I started my blog, Sara's Organized Chaos (http://strandupdate.blogspot.com) and originally started it to keep friends/family updated with my kids. It turns out either they are all lazy or don't really care because they never checked it. And at the time, I was really stressed out with my job and life, and I needed a place to vent... so I changed it to what it is today. And miraculously- my family started reading it and I get yelled at all the time about my blog. :)

Oh man. Narrow it down to one??? Wow. I am an avid reader and I consume every book I can get my hands on. I do book reviews on my blog for TLC book tours and I encourage everyone to read as much as they can. But one of my favorite books, one that I recommend to EVERYONE, would be The Leisure Seeker by Michael Zadoorian. It's a great story about elderly parents who have failing health, and how their children just want them to live in a nursing home. Well... the parents have other plans and hit the road in their Leisure Seeker RV and hilarity and sadness ensues. It really made me think about my own parents differently.

Definitely my reading makes me nerdy. I always have a book with me. I also like rocks and if I could have been a Geologist, I totally would have. Except you need math skills and I can barely add. Don't ever ask me to do any kind of math in my head because you'll just get a blank stare from me. But I also totally love reading paranormal/sci fi books with vampires, angels, nephilim, wolves, etc. I totally dig that kind of stuff and often wonder if we're alone on our planet. I'm not so worried about aliens unless they want to probe me, but I don't know. I guess I'd worry about that at the moment, ya know?

Squeeze my kids' guts, get an afternoon quickie with my husband and finish my book. While eating spaghetti and drinking as much Pepsi as I possibly could.

5. Describe the perfect sandwich.
 I don't know if live gets better than crunchy peanut butter and grape jelly sandwiches. But a close second would be turkey or chicken with colby jack cheese and a little lettuce. And both would have to be on white bread because wheat is for losers.

I like doing clerical things, and I have an Associates Degree as an Administrative Assistant. I currently work at a college bookstore and I love it. I love being around books, I love being able to read books at work. SO.. one day I'd like to be able to be here full time and mixing my two loves together.

7. What is the most important thing in your life? 

Knowing my family is safe and happy. It took me awhile to learn that no matter what else is going on- if you have a safe and happy family you have everything. I used to work in a job I once loved but it turned into something I dreaded going to and I wasn't happy and I realized I had to get out of there because my unhappiness and stress were really affecting everyone around me. And once I left and got things back on track I was able to look at how unhealthy everything once was. So I'm definitely a living example of the importance at being happy at your job and how it spills into your home life.

8. Would you rather fight two hundred two year olds or two hundred chihuahuas? 

They are pretty much the same thing, they both make intolerable noises and they whine. But I'm going to say I'd take the 200 hundered 2 year olds because you know that some of them have to be the loners of the group and you can go all pyschological on them and get them on your side. And frankly- if you threaten kids by saying if they don't stop right now, monsters really will eat them at night, they usually chill out. I doubt a chihuahua really cares.

I've been seeing the 30 Day Photo Meme on blogs all across the blogosphere.

I think it's a fun idea, but I definitely do not have the patience to post for a meme for thirty days.

But Lauren from Busy Bee Lauren just decided to group the entire meme into one post. Great idea right?

Spending three days with Kevin was one of the best things that's ever happened to me. I've never felt happier.

There were painted horses in Ogden, UT and my sister and I went to take pictures with them. There was a raptor painted on the side of one of them and I needed to act like a ham.

I spend pretty much all of my spare time on my computer. Most of the time is on my blog and there are a bunch of other favorite sites that I have saved at the top of the page, and a myriad of other programs that take up my time.

My dad and I spent an entire day and well into the night putting Christmas lights up all over the house. This was our favorite part. The grotto. It was such a good night.

My family is everything to me.

My parents got married when they were 22. I will be 22 in a month.

This was my first day in Vegas when I came to visit for 6 weeks last summer. Alyson took me to Red Robin. 

Don't you just love my princess panties and mismatching socks?

This is the cover I created for the first draft novel I wrote in 2009. Finishing that first draft was about the most amazing accomplishment I've ever done.

I've never felt closer to a person who isn't in my family. Kevin is definitely my closest friend.

My niece and nephew were hanging out with me at the mall back in 2006. When we saw a photo booth and they were so excited to try it out.

I was just learning to use Photoshop, and I thought this edit was the coolest thing since rice and beans.

I decided I would like to try and draw something manga like. And ta-da, it's one of my favorite drawings ever.

Last April, I took this picture to document my weight loss. I'd lost something like 30 pounds when this picture was taken.

Look at cute little new born me. Aw.

The duckbill platypus face. The best funny face of all time.

This was a play called Twelve Dancing Princesses. The best musical I've ever participated in. That's me in the orange dress and spider web sleeves. I was October. I loved this show.

I never ever will.

Chili's is one of my favorite restaurants. It may not be the fanciest place, but the decor is fun and the food is good! 

Alyson treated me to a wonderful meal there the other day and I couldn't have been happier! We tried to figure out the last time we had been there, and all we could come up with was "a very long time ago."

I'm going to take you through the perfect meal for my taste buds.

First: Strawberry Lemonade.

I get Strawberry (or raspberry) Lemonade at nearly every restaurant that offers it. 

Chili's has one of the best flavors. It's sweet, but not TOO sweet and also not too sour that you feel the need to add three sugar packets to the beverage. And though I've learned not to let them bother me, it doesn't have pieces of soggy strawberries floating in the drink, which makes it awesome. It's a good choice!

Second: Cajun Chicken Pasta.

Penne pasta in a creamy alfredo sauce, with cajun seasoning, grilled chicken, tomatoes, green onions and parmesan cheese with a side of Texas toast. It's perfect. 

For years, I never strayed from the fajitas or ribs (both great, by the way) until I took a step out of my comfort zone and ordered this wonderful dish. It tastes wonderful, and when you can't finish it, it warms up perfectly in the microwave at home!

Third: Molten Lava Cake

It's as rich as it looks. You NEED the ice cream to help keep you from dying in a sugary coma of happiness! I have loved this desert from the first moment I tried it. It is one of my favorite deserts of all time. Top five easily!

When you leave that restaurant, you should be feeling fat and happy. It's a total diet killer. 

But that's how it should be!
