Simply Kate
10:11 PM
For the past few days, I've been feeling low. Focusing on every single flaw and never the good things about me.
So I made a scrapbook page with only the good words that I think describe me. The positive, uplifting ones.
It's miraculous how well it worked.
This is me. Simply Kate.
I hope you'll all remember the good words about yourselves today too. Forget the bad ones.

Sort of going along with this post, the word blogger chose for me to type for verification was "cajolde", which is sounding like "Kah-joul-dee" to me. It made me laugh for some reason. I'll need to remember this to help me feel good when I'm down.
Glad that it helped you feel better. You deserve it.
Cool post. Sometimes it's so easy to focus our flaws and forget about all the good things. I know I do that a lot, at least.
Hope you're done feeling down, chica! You're fabulous - so don't let yourself believe otherwise. :)
This is really nice. You shouldn't feel bad about yourself, you're a wonderful person! Don't let anyone put you down.
...I wish I had half your talent there. I am so not artistically talented at all. I can picture things in my head just fine, but can't get them onto the screen.
(I am amused by 'glype' being the verification word)
Cool scrapbook page. I think you're right, we all need to stop and think of our good qualities every once in a while. It's too easy to get down on yourself and stay down.
Fantastic idea! Your project came out awesome : ) good for you for DOING something to make you feel better!
Cute page!!! It turned out great and I can think of a million other great qualities and wonderful things you could have included in those good words to describe you. :) Love you Tater!!
What a great idea, I hope you put super smart on there too ;)
An excellent idea. Glad to hear you're feeling better than you were. Sometimes a little bit of positivity can do a lot of good.
This is almost too cute and positive for words. :)
Good for you for knowing yourself and knowing how to cheer yourself up.

What an excellent idea! It turned out great!
I've found that days where I only see the bad are best ended with a drink and sleep. Maybe I'll try the scrapbook idea though, since it's fewer calories than my lover strongbow.
this turned out great! love it!
I love this and how you took charge of your feelings. On a side note, where did you do this? I would love to use it as a class assignment with my students with affirmation words. Thank you for the idea.
