Day of Love

We all know that Valentine's Day is the holiday of love. I'm starting to realize that I'm probably not going to find a date for the 14th. But even so, if I did, it seems to me that having a meaningless date would kind of negate the idea of the holiday. A meaningless date does not equal love. So, while it might be fun to have a date on Valentine's day, I'm no longer going to focus on that. Instead, I am going to focus on the things that I do love.
  1. Parents
  2. Siblings
  3. Nephew and niece
  4. Extended family
  5. Friends
  6. The gospel
  7. My home
  8. My blog
  9. Food
  10. Books
  11. Movies
  12. Making videos
  13. Music
  14. My freedom
I'm blessed with so many things to love and enjoy. Though maybe next year I'll have a boyfriend (not just a date) to add to the list, wish me luck!

I like this list! I love focusing on love on Valentine's Day. I am single too, so I focus on my family, friends, the gospel, and blessings and realize I have a lot to love! :)

Valentine's Day would be nice if it wasn't over commercialised like everything else...
