Easter Eggs

This may be the first year of my life that I don't dye any Easter Eggs. And it makes me really sad to think about it.

Easter has a tendency to be a bit to-do with siblings and parents and nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles and grandparents and cousins. It's a big ol' party of dying and hunting eggs, playing games and laughter.

But since I won't be able to take part in those festivities, I've spent the day looking through pictures and watching videos of Easters Past. I thought I would share them with you!

Alyson vs. The Trampoline makes me laugh every time. I had to share it. She got a spring caught in her belt loop.

And yes. That adorable little thing is me. I'm the cutest.

Here are photos from the last five Easters. I miss you all!

Happy Easter everyone! I wish I was there with you!

Also! Congratulations to Julie (in the white coat) and Steve! They got married yesterday morning! I'm so happy for you both!

It sure wasn't the same dying eggs yesterday without you. There was only Kristi, Jenny's and Dad & I. We had fun, tho. Dad & I hid the eggs and the Jeff & Megan had fun looking for them. Later we fixed eggs goldenrod.

Thanks for your comment! I'm sorry you don't get to color Easter eggs this year. Boo hoo, but it is always fun to go back and remember old times too. I dyed eggs yesterday with a few of my girlfriends. Hope it is still a Happy Easter for you!

Now those are some serious Easter dyeing parties. I've never seen so many eggs being dyed. we only dyed 9 this year, and usually it's only 12. I can't imagine dying so many, and they are all really nice and thought out, I love it. Thanks for visiting my blog, and I hope you have a very nice Easter. ♥ BJ

Memories! I loved coloring eggs and I always loved the different kinds of dye sets PAAS would come up with. They seemed to add more and more every year from stencils to tie dye to glitter... I miss going on Easter egg hunts - my have to "crash" the kids hunt at my church tomorrow! happy early Easter! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Going to follow back but the "followers" button is missing...

I especially love the second photo; what IS going through the mind of that little precious? Looks like she's wondering what came first, the Chicken or the Egg, lolol.

Sending you a virtual colored Easter egg; managed to color way too many!

Enjoy the day!

There were no festivities this year at my house either. So I spent the morning/early afternoon lying by the pool. Which may become a tradition for my quiet holidays... It was wonderful!

These eggs are fantastic! I especially like the watermelon one, haha. I'm sorry you didn't dye any today, but if it's any consolation, eggs are a symbol for Beltane, too, and Matt and I plan on dyeing eggs that day. :) I'd love if you could, too, all the way out in the desert!

Happy Easter! :)

What fun pictures and memories! I love the watermelon egg!

We didn't dye eggs this year, my son is 18 months so I think next year will be our first for eggs w/ him. The hubs and I used to dye eggs pre-baby, but this year I just couldn't find the time.

Blessed Easter!
